Recommended sleep duration:
• Ages 3–5: 10–13 hours
• Ages 6–13: 9–11 hours
• Ages 14–17: 8–10 hours
Helpful tips:
Set and stick to a bedtime (weekends too!)
Create a calming bedtime routine
Avoid all stimulants, e.g. chocolate and soft drinks in the afternoon
Turn off all screens at least one hour before bed
Make the bedroom quiet, dark and comfortable
